What Is A Color Converter Tool?

You must convert color formats into one another, whether working with various designing software or even printing digital art. In that case, how would you convert them? Everyone prefers using them because there are so many quick and cost-free online tools.

Different Color Models

A color model allows a specific color to be defined in various systems. For instance, over 16 million colors are available in the digital world. What strategies do you think designers employ to make each one distinct? One of the most well-known color models is the RGB scheme. Is that, though, the only one? No, there are currently more than ten color schemes used worldwide. Now let's introduce some common color schemes.

  • Hex:
Each byte, or pair of letters, in the Hex code, represents the intensity of the colors red, green, and blue. Three-byte hexadecimal numbers (i.e., numbers with six digits) are used to represent colors. From 00 (the lowest) to ff are the code bytes (the highest).
  • CMYK:
Cyan-C, magenta-M, yellow-Y, and black (K for "key") make up the acronym CMYK, which ranges from 0 to 100. As an illustration, full-color graphics and images are produced by commercial printing equipment using this color mode.
  • RGB:
Its acronym is RGB, or Red, Green, and Blue. These three light colors can therefore be combined to produce a variety of hues. An RGB color model has a 0–255 range for each color code.
  • Lab Color:
The LAB color model is based on the amount of color present along the green-to-red and blue-to-yellow axes and the amount of color present along the lightness scale from light to dark.
  • PMS:
Pantone is a business that specializes in creating products that support the Pantone Matching System, or PMS for short.
  • HSB:
It stands for brightness, saturation, and hue. Even if you have no idea how other models would represent it, you may utilize HSB's easy and user-friendly color mixing technique to produce the color that is the closest to the one you have in mind.
  • NCol:
HTML color selection is made simpler by the Natural Colors (NCol) system. NCol uses a color letter and a number to specify the color's distance from another color (in percent). R30 denotes a 30% shift toward Yellow away from the color Red.
