I will be going to China soon and I would like to understand how much money to take with me. But for today I understand that the amount is one, but in a couple of months because of the exchange rate the amount will be completely different. How do I figure it out? I'm from Australia, if anything.

I have never been interested in such questions, so it seems to me that you will not guess anything, because you need to have some idea how and where the exchange rate will move.
